As many of you are familiar with LOD Editor, use this as an installation manual for the F-14B Cockpit Models for the 4.33 version of Falcon BMS. The method of installation has changed from previous versions of this simulation.
Download the F-14B
http://www.ElectronicBattlefield.com/downloads/F14b_433_1.0.rar (http://www.ElectronicBattlefield.com/downloads/F14b_433_1.0.rar)
Use our tutorial on replacing models http://www.electronicbattlefield.com/smf/index.php/topic,36.0.html (http://www.electronicbattlefield.com/smf/index.php/topic,36.0.html) for reference only with 4.33!
-Backup your 4.33 folder to another drive
-Any Questions, Ask!
Download Contents:

1) Start with LOD Editor and replace the External Model. (Parent #649)
-Click "Edit" until "Replace" is seen
(http://www.electronicbattlefield.com/images/forum/f14_2.PNG)
-Replace LOD#2277 from Download
-Replace LOD#2278 from Download
-Make sure to set "Texture Sets" to 1, and "nDOF/nSwitch" to 255
2)Copy the contents of the "objects" folder from the Download to BOTH of your texture directories: "KoreaObj and KoreaObj_HiRes"
3)Using the 649 folder from the download, overwrite the installation folder located here:/Falcon BMS 4.33/Data/Art/ckptart/
4)Using the Acdata from the download, replace the files located in your installation located here:/Falcon BMS 4.33/Data/sim/Acdata/
Cockpit Model Installation
-The Cockpit Models do not vary from previous installs. Install the same way.
-If you installed the External Model above, textures are already installed :)
1)Replace LOD#3004, 3006 and 3007 in your installation using LOD Editor from the download. Files are named identically, when using LOD Editor replacing LOD#3004 from your install to LOD#3004 from the download is correct.
2)-Make sure to set "Texture Sets" to 1, and "nDOF/nSwitch" to 255
(http://www.electronicbattlefield.com/images/forum/f14_2.PNG)
-Known Issues:
-Weapons Locations (Racks/Pods)
-Textures Still in development
-Some functions are INOP
-No Installer Available currently

Thanks for updating this. I have a question on the install. I have been able to do everything except replace LOD 3004,3006 and 3007. I can't find these LOD's in my original installation.
Where are these files supposed to be located and if they are not in the base installation, where should I put the new files?
Thanks!

Hi
Open LOD Editor and type in 3004 in the Right Box under "Parent", Right Lower part of menu.
It will bring up the model.

Pfff... it's very complicated for me, please can you make an automatic installer ? Please please please !? :p

Yes, that is the plan. Very soon.

Before 2016 ? :p

Any news for a .exe ?

Sorry, been busy on all things. I'll see what I can do within a day or two.
Thanks!

Thank you so much Nizmo, for this great aircraft and KoreaHD theater. :)
I request from you : Can you give to us F-15C Eagle (with F15C cockpit) for 4.33? Because, KoreaHD's F15C Eagle is the great aircraft in the sim world. :)
With my best regards.

I hope try this legend in the skies ! Thank you ! ^^

For anyone who is having any issues, simply download KoreaHD on the main theaters page, the F-14 is completely installed.

Many thanks, here's hope.. :)

This cockpit is ugly, it looks like a bad porting 4.32 to 4.33, and it was nothing like what's in the videos. KoreaHD is poorly imported.
In addition, I tried the cockpit in stand-alone, my game is crashing at launch.
-
The developers of 4.33 changed some of the 3D settings. I have to go through the pits and fix the issues.
Thanks for letting us know!
-
By the way, the 3D model isn't good, the textures are awful (Modex deformed, and NAVY is inverted). And no pilots in the plane !
It's long to porting in 4.33 a good cockpit ?
-
You are using a in development ALPHA model of the F-14.
Yes, things were changed in 4.33, and it takes a long time.
Thanks for the input.

Still a gift from Nizmo. Maybe a bit patience and more neutral stance would be nice? Just saying.
I also noticed a lot has changed while trying to use one of Nizmo's older pits in 4.33, and even the BMS F-16 3D pits have different HUD overlay models now.
Since all this is freeware, no one can claim a "I want this or that", it is all done in spare time, of both BMS developers as well as Nizmo here.
My 2 cents..

I will be sure to get the new model and the others in KoreaHD release for 4.2/16
